Vintage, 2 Pugsley and Cia Leather Horse Saddles, Rare Salesman Samples
"2" salesman sample saddles from Brazilian saddle makers, Pugsley & Cia, circa mid 1900's. The saddle shows a wonderfully and professionally crafted salesman sample from Brazilian company, Pugsley & Cia. The saddle features beautiful tooling on the seat, fenders, latigo, and cantle of basket woven design. The saddle features professionally crafted tapaderos and shows the saddle maker's mark on the underside of the skirt, along with an identifying sticker. The condition of the saddles is good overall, with slight wear to the saddle strings; on one saddle the left front string is broken and missing the lariat.
