Hello, this listing is for the vintage LEGO Castle "Forestmen's Crossing" set 6071 that came out in 1990. This rare used set features a Robin Hood type minifigure with his band of merry men (and 1 woman) at their forest hideout! The cool thing about this set is there is a "rope" bridge going across the river to a large tree where the Forestmen can surprise people travelling along the river! Another cool thing about this set is there are 2 secret entrances into the fort! This set is mostly complete, but there are a few things I would like to mention... The original baseplate has been substituted with a plain green baseplate. I added a layer of green bricks underneath the build, and added some blue and yellow plates for the river and sand so the base looks contoured! I think it turned out really well! The rare female Forestmen figure is there (pants, face and torso) but the green hat has been substituted with red. I believe the only other things missing from that set is the green/blue figure and the ladder.

I did snap together 2 smaller brown ladder pieces in place of where the original ladder would be. I'm pretty sure everything else is there, but please note it is possible I may have missed something.

Pieces look to be in overall good condition for being over 30 years old, but. Lease note set is used. So there may be a few imperfections and/or slight discoloration due to age/wear/exposure. Please see photos for exact condition.

The set was put back together using free instructions found through a quick online search. This hard to find set would make a great addition to any LEGO enthusiasts collection!
