Antique Victorian mother of pearl horse equestrian pendant, in Egyptian revival style. This gorgeous pendant is very detailed and beautifully made, truly amazing craftsmanship. It features iridescent and creamy mother of pearl hand carved horse head and horse shoe with gold filled details throughout the piece. This pendant is full of Victorian symbolism: lucky horse shoe is riveted with seven nails for good fortune. The bridle has two Egyptian Ankhs (one on each side of the mouth) that is known to be a key of life, bringing health and eternal life to the owner.
