Rare Antique Victorian Mother of Pearl and gold Horse Head Equestrian Pendant

  

Antique Victorian horse head pendant carved out of mother of pearl. No cracks or chips, but on the reverse side at the bottom you can see where the craftsperson was running out of material so its not perfectly smooth. Bridle is missing a circular stud on one side of pendant. It looks like there was a piece of gold wire at bottom of horses neck at one time. Measures just over one inch tall to top of bale.

11/16" wide, and 3/16" thick. Im pretty sure the accents and bale are 10k.

Top of bale is thin from many years of use and no base metal showing under gold. Please ask any other questions.
