DAWES VINTAGE HIGH QUALITY ARTISAN ROCKING HORSE. I have had this adorable rocking horse for a number of years now but it was originally part of a very high end collection I was lucky enough to have passed on to me. This collector bought only the best. This piece is not clearly signed but I have been informed by a fellow collector that this was made by Dawes Rockers - famous in the late 1990's for their lovely pieces. (There is the slightest scratch of a'D' but that's all I can make out so without this information, I wouldn't have known - thank-you Dx). Collectors of rocking horses will know that, finding a wood coloured one of this age is pretty rare. They are usually painted but by being polished wood, you can see the superior construction of the horse. The tack is so detailed too and along with the mane, is very good quality, leather & brass. It has just been sat in my nursery and hasn't been played with so it's in excellent condition.

It is a smaller rocking horse measuring 3 3/4" wide and max 3 1/4" high - designed for a younger child to play with. Continue to stay safe during your extended time at home everyone. And enjoy the extra time with your hobby!
