SERVING TRAY ENGLISH HUNT SCENE FOX HORSE DOG GLASS GERMANY ANTIQUE RARE 16. Listing is what I believe is a vintage, reverse painted glass serving tray. It is stamped on the back "Made in Germany" "US Zone".

This is a gorgeous tray and a must have for the equestrian. Please view all photos for more detailed information. This tray is vintage and does have a few blemishes.

What I have noticed and you can see in the photos is slight paint loss in the border. I don't think this is unusual for reversed painted glass and I don't believe it detracts from the beauty of this tray. Please see the close ups of the riders coat. The coats appear to be a foil material.

It is hard to describe but the coat shimmers when the tray is tilted in various directions. There are also some sparkles (glitter like) in some of the trees that also appear as the tray is viewed from different directions. This is very hard to describe because I have never seen this before.

I don't think you will be disappointed in this great looking tray. What a great gift this would be for the equestrian in your family, or as a gift to yourself. It is approximately 16" x 10 1/2". This tray is vintage but in wonderful condition for its age with only slight paint loss as can be seen in the photos.

Tray is a nice quality item. Not flimsy nice solid piece. The back is wood & frame is hard woven plastic.
