The feel of an ancient piece rediscovered yet still possessing a contemporary statement. She has received worldwide recognition for her artwork and has won numerous awards. Because of their uniqueness they are displayed in the prominent collections of various celebrities, international embassies and private collectors around the world. Occasionally she will create a special small edition of an unique design which are eagerly sought out. She has also been greatly honored thanks guys! By having several prominent artists feature her Medicine Horses in their artwork and jewelry. Her next project is to create a book based on her sketches. This would include the lore that she has collected about horses over the past 25 years. Are sculptures whose design elements are taken from the historical records, mythologicalbeliefs, storiesand religions of various horse cultures.Hand-blown artist's glass and antique trade beads, antelope and horse hair, turquoise, hand carved fetishes, and quartz crystals are among the various elements that are used on the Medicine Horses to embellish their medicine bundles, manes and tails. Thisis how I started out over 29 years ago. But because of arthritis in my hands which makes it hard for me to work in the clay I gave it up for about a year. With only a few in a year created.
Still being Hand Sculpted and Painted using mineral pigments then pit fired as in the past. So even though I use the word Edition each one is really a one of a kind sculpture.
