Rare Antique Staffordshire Gold Luster Rearing Stallion Mantle Figurines ca 1910
For your consideration we offer an antique matched pair of Staffordshire rearing stallion mantle piece figurines with a brilliant golden luster finish. An estate find that dates to the early 1900s, this is a rare and unique set of stallions of substantial size in beautiful heirloom condition. Standing approximately 12 inches in height, each figurine measures 11.5 inches in length and 4.25 inches wide.
No chips, cracks, crazing, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections are found. Occasional and random spots of glaze skipping are seen, a common occurrance during the firing process. This does not affect their integrity. A vent hole is visible on the base of each. Wear is commensurate with age and history of use so please regard each photograph as they form a descriptive part of the listing.
