This antique farrier's box is truly a rare find indeed! It was found in an old carriage house that had been locked up tight for over 75 years, sitting right where it had been placed after its last use.

Once we blew the accumulated dust off of it we found that it was complete with folding stool, hammer, tongs, hook, files other tools, a horse's bit and even the original horseshoe nails! We were going to clean up the tools and take some of the rust off of them but decided that it was better to leave them to match the patina of the box itself.
