Antique German Santa Claus Riding Horse Rare Color

  

This is an antique German Santa riding a hide covered horse. Santa's green clothing is rare. His coat and hood are felt, his pants are wool.

His hood and sleeves are lined with white crepe paper. Santa's head, hands, and boots are composition.

He has a charming hand painted face and a rabbit fur beard. He has a Germany tag on his boot. Santa carries a little basket and a nice feather tree.

The horse has tack eyes, wooden hooves, and nicely detailed leather and felt trappings. Santa measures 7 3/4 to the top of his hood. Nose to tail and 8 1/4 to the top of his head. The horse's hide covering has minor wear. Overall Santa and horse are in very nice antique condition.
